Mr. Lieberman is a senior partner at Goldstein Lieberman & Company LLC and co-chairman of the firm's tax department. With more than four decades of experience in assisting business owners, he has worked with large, multi-national corporations as well as closely-held, middle-market companies. Mr. Lieberman provides extensive merger and acquisition counseling to a diverse client base. He also advises clients on corporate reorganization issues, S corporation and partnership taxation, as well as multi-state taxation and US taxation of foreign operations.

As co-chairman of the tax department, his duties include the final decision making process for all tax planning and tax return positions. His primary client industries are retail, real estate and manufacturing. Mr. Lieberman has cultivated a national reputation in the manufacturing industry. His years of experience in accounting, taxation and business advisory services benefit clients from these and other industries. He has become a trusted resource for all of his clients.

A graduate of the Baruch School of the City University of New York with a bachelor's degree in accounting, Mr. Lieberman is a licensed CPA in New York and New Jersey. He began his career as an auditor with the US Armed Forces prior to going into public accounting.

Mr. Lieberman is very active in the community, and continues to devote time to many charitable endeavors. He served on the board of directors of various nonprofit organizations and a charitable foundation board of directors. Furthermore, he has served on the advisory board of a nonprofit organization focused on real estate and portfolio investments. He has also served as treasurer of a community organization board.

Throughout his career he has written numerous articles for various trade magazines regarding income taxes as well as accounting issues and has extensive experience in transferring his tax acumen to professionals within the firm.
